Products that are received faulty, damaged, or not as described are eligible for a return, refund, or replacement in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of Mind Returns
Decor & Tech Accessories:
If you change your mind, we accept returns strictly within 14 days of delivery, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging.
Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the customer’s responsibility.
Furniture:
Change of mind returns are not accepted for furniture items, including desks, chairs, and storage pieces, due to the size and nature of these products.
How to Request a Return
If you would like to request a return for your product due to change of mind or an issue with the item.
- Email us via our Contact Us page or at contact@deskvia.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the item outlining the issue.
- Our team will review your request and confirm the next steps.
Please note: claims made after 14 business days of delivery will not be accepted.
Condition of Returned Items
All returned products must be in unused condition and in their original packaging, unless they arrived faulty or damaged.
Return Shipping
If your product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
If you are returning a Decor & Tech Accessory product due to change of mind, then the return cost is at the customer's expense.
If a return is approved for any other reason (at our discretion), return shipping may be at the customer’s expense.
Items Not Eligible for Return
For hygiene, safety, or customisation reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty or not as described (as per ACL):
- Used or opened items
- Personalised or customised items
- Consumables
Exchanges
Unfortunately we do not offer direct exchanges at this time.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the courier. Please ensure your shipping address is secure and file a claim with the courier.
Price Adjustments
If the price of an item becomes lower within 3 days of your purchase, we’ll honour the lower price and provide a store credit for the difference.
The item must still be in stock and identical to the one originally purchased.

Refund & Replacement Timeframes
Refunds are processed within 3 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item and will be issued to your original payment method.
Approved replacements will be shipped within 1–2 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
